Electrical technicians install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems that bring electricity from power generating plants to our homes, offices, schools, and places of business. Electricians have considerable skills troubleshooting wiring problems, installing wiring in existing buildings, and making repairs. Construction electricians primarily focus on larger projects, such as installing all new electrical system for an entire building, or upgrading an entire floor of an office building as part of a remodeling process. Carpentry Carpentry is a craft that’s been around for centuries, and is an important part of today’s modern development. Nearly all forms of construction require skilled carpenters to help plan and build homes on the inside and out. Students in our program learn hands-on new construction skills.
