∼Mission∼

    Our goal is to provide technical and orientation training for boys and girls ages 11 to 19, who may or may not be college bound and are seeking full-time, long term careers when they graduate high school. Through our program we provide part-time employment for 16-18 years old and a stipend for all trainees to encourage them to stay in school and in the community while successfully completing the training.

   In addition, we partner with industries and other advanced training programs that provide full-time long-term career employment opportunities for high school graduates at the completion of their technical training.

Carpentry

A skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the cutting, shaping and installation of building materials during the construction of buildings, ships, timber bridges, concrete formwork, etc.

Plumbing

The system of pipes, drains, fittings, valves, and fixtures installed for the distribution of potable water for drinking, heating and washing, and waterborne waste removal.

Electricity

Specializing in electrical wiring of buildings, stationary machines and related equipment; installation of new electrical components or the maintenance and repair of existing electrical infrastructure.


Plumbing Overview

Plumbers are responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining pipes, fixtures and other plumbing used for water Plumbers are a familiar sight to most people who employ them to fix a leak or install a sink.   *Plumbers, pipelayers, pipefitters, and steamfitters do much more than this, however. They install and perform work on many different pipe systems from water treatment plants that service an entire town to skyscrapers to homes. They might also work on waste removal, gas, or climate control systems. Pipes are used in all of these different areas, plus they are used to hold steam to power turbine engines, or in industrial facilities to transport materials. Electricity Overview

Electricity is essential for light, power, air conditioning, refrigeration, and so many of the conveniences we take for granted every day. Electrical technicians install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems that bring electricity from power generating plants to our homes, offices, schools, and places of business. Electricians have considerable skills troubleshooting wiring problems, installing wiring in existing buildings, and making repairs. Construction electricians primarily focus on larger projects, such as installing all new electrical system for an entire building, or upgrading an entire floor of an office building as part of a remodeling process. Students in our program will learn how to reduce equipment downtime, improve overall efficiency and safety, and fix problems they’ve been unable to solve.
